Muslim Comment: You’re an expired drug bad for the unity of this country – Charly Boy slams El-Rufai
Veteran singer, Charly Boy has strongly criticized Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, for his recent controversial remarks on religion.
In a viral video, El-Rufai stated that he and some northern governors employed religion as a political tool to secure victory for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in the upcoming 2023 presidential election. He justified this decision as a means to address the issues of tribalism and religious divisions in Nigerian politics.
El-Rufai’s statement sparked widespread outrage across the country, with concerned Nigerians cautioning him against igniting tensions and labeling him as a religious extremist.
Reacting to this, Charly Boy in a tweet wrote; “This small micro chip of a man called El-Rufai. No need to go on pretending that you desire the progress of ur country Nigeria that you have so stolen from.
“It is silly to go on pretending that you’re even a true Muslim. You’re an expired drug bad for the unity of this country”.
that is true…..
