I will work with Tinubu if he extends an invitation – Bode George
Elder statesman, Bode George has laid out a condition for joining President Bola Tinubu’s administration, stating that he would be willing to work with Tinubu if he extends an invitation. The relationship between Tinubu and Bode George has historically been strained.
During the previous presidential election, George declared that he would leave Nigeria if Tinubu emerged victorious. The prominent member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) had stated that he would relocate to Togo if the tribunal’s decision favored Tinubu.
However, George has now expressed his willingness to contribute his efforts to Tinubu’s administration if asked to do so. Speaking to journalists in Lagos, the PDP stalwart clarified that he has no personal issues with Tinubu.
He said; “My reaction, like I have said, there is nothing personal. Look, I trained in the military. You know in the military whoever is in the trench next to you is your brother.
“When you go out to say what is our mission in the military? It is to defend our country.
“If he comes and says look, what do you feel about this, what do you feel about that, let’s work together in the interest of this country, why would I refuse? This nation also trained me.”
that is a very good cause of actions…..
