Bashir El-Rufai slams Falz for going to the UK for a surgery

On Thursday, Bashir El-Rufai, the son of Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, ridiculed Falz, a rapper and activist, for having his surgery abroad.

Falz recently underwent knee surgery in the UK. In response, Bashir took to Twitter to taunt Falz for not having the surgery in a Nigerian hospital, especially the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital.

He expressed disappointment in Falz, referring to him as a “bona fide human rights activist” who should have had his surgery in LASUTH. Bashir quoted a tweet about Falz’s recent surgery, he wrote; “UK? He didn’t go to LASUTH as a bona-fide human rights activist?

“Disappointing.”
