I was looking for fulfillment – Chidinma speaks on why she stopped singing secular music

Chidimma Ekile, a well-known Nigerian musician, recently revealed the reason why she stopped singing secular music. Chidimma, who gained fame after winning Project Fame in 2010, claimed that she felt a sense of emptiness.

She announced in 2021 that she had become a Minister of God and made a commitment to never return to secular music.

In a YouTube video posted on Wednesday, the ‘Kedike’ singer explained that the void she felt led her to rediscover her connection with God, which ultimately brought her a sense of fulfillment.
