Nigerian Singer turned politician, Bankole Wellington, Popularly known as Banky W, has expressed that service to the community should not be dependent on getting a seat in the government

The singer, who was the PDP candidate for the House of Representatives election in the Eti-Osa federal constituency of Lagos State, lost to the Labour Party candidate. 

He shared this in a tweet via his Twitter handle. According to him, not getting a seat in government shouldn’t stop one from serving the community.
