Junior secondary school student allegedly sent out of school because her bag had a Peter Obi sticker in Lagos

A junior secondary school student named Barinada Marellous in Jss2B was allegedly sent out of school in Epe, Lagos, because her bag had a sticker of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi. 

The note allegedly signed by the school “principal” reads that she was sent home “to campaign for Peter Obi against the wish of Lagosians”. 

A Twitter user confirmed that it truly happened, which has since sparked outrage
