LASU staff slumps and dies while queuing in bank to withdraw N5,000

A staff of the Lagos State University (LASU) Ojo, Mr Ademola Adesola, slumped and died while queuing in a bank within the school premises to withdraw N5,000 new notes.

The deceased was said to have left the office for the bank at about 11.30am to collect money from his account. While waiting, he slumped and died in the process.

The incident was confirmed in a statement by the Head of the Publicity and Public Relations Unit of the university, Mr Jeariogbe Olaniyi, to the Nigerian Tribune on Tuesday, February 21, 2023

Olaniyi disclosed that Adesola was rushed to the university clinic for attention but all efforts to revive him proved abortive
