Restructuring will be achieved in my time – Atiku tells South West electorate

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar has declared that the restructuring the people of the South West region have been clamouring for will be implemented during his administration.

He said this Thursday while addressing thousands of supporters who converged at Mapo Hall in Ibadan, Oyo State, to listen to him.

According to him, the current government at the federal level has failed to restructure the country, despite the fact that the people of the region have been clamouring for it over the years.

“I will restructure Nigeria. Restructuring of the country will be achieved during my time. By restructuring, we mean giving more powers and autonomy to the states and local government areas.

“It will be one of the pillars of my government.

“Vote for PDP so that together, we can match to progress,” he said.
