Nigeria Flamingos beat USA to advance to U-17 World Cup semi-finals for the first time

Nigeria’s Under 17 team, Flamingos have qualified for the semi-finals of this year’s U-17 women’s World Cup.

They beat USA on penalties in Friday’s quarter-finals to book a place in the semifinals.

This is the first time the team would be reaching the last four in the competition.

The tournament is currently going on in India.
