Peter Obi visits Sheikh Gumi in Kaduna
Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), and running mate Datti Baba-Ahmed today paid a courtesy visit to Ahmad Gumi, the popular Islamic cleric and bandits negotiator, at his residence in Kaduna State.
He shared this in a tweet via his Twitter handle.
“Dr Datti Baba-Ahmed and I stopped by for a courtesy call on Sheikh Gumi at his official residence in Kaduna. -PO”, he tweeted
Obi, during the meeting, said turning Nigeria around will require three core banks: Bank of Agriculture, Bank of Industry & Bank of Infrastructure, adding that they will make funds easily accessible to SME startups and individuals.
Shiek Gumi, in the meeting, advised Obi not to kill the movement after 2023.
“Beyond the 2023 elections, don’t let the Movement you have started end,” Gumi said
That’s good advice because many politicians abandon their movement and their disciples with their faith
I hope he will listen to him and continue with it after the election wether he win or not
this is the people that knows how to rule this country in the right direction………
