Wike gives reasons why Atiku cannot win 2023 elections

Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has said it is impossible to emerge the president of Nigeria without winning any of Lagos, Kano and Rivers states.

He said this on Friday while fielding questions in a media chat with some journalists in Port Harcourt.

He disclosed that during the 2019 elections, President Muhammadu Buhari won in Lagos and Kano and if Atiku has any chances of winning he has to clinch his victory in the three states but he does not have any of the states

“In 2015, Buhari won Lagos and Kano states. Also, in 2019, Buhari won Lagos and Kano states, and PDP won Rivers State,” Wike said.

“Presently, Atiku does not have Lagos and Kano states, and now he said he doesn’t need Rivers State. How can he win?”
