The same God that led Obasanjo to support Atiku in 2019 will lead him to support Atiku now – Aide

The Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organisation has expressed confidence that ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo will support his former vice to win the presidency.

A spokesman for the campaign, Charles Aniagwu said Obasanjo saw the capability of Atiku in 1999 which made him choose the presidential hopeful as his running mate

Speaking with reporters in Asaba on Wednesday, he recalled how Obasanjo supported the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate during the last general election adding that he will still Support Atiku in the forthcoming election

“Atiku was more or less Obasanjo’s candidate, so if he supported him that much, I don’t think anything has changed between 2019 and now.

“The same God that led him to support Atiku in 2019 is still alive and will lead him to know that Atiku.

“Obasanjo saw the ability of Atiku in 1999, and he chose him against all odds to become his running mate”, NAN quoted him saying.
