Those surrounding the President are criminals. Bandits will soon enter Aso Rock – Ortom

Governor of Benue state, Samuel Ortom has lamented over the spate of insecurity in the country. The Governor stated that with the way the bandits are operating without proactive measure, they might get into the Aso villa in no time

He lamented that bandits and Fulanis in Afghanistan are the ones abducting Nigerians.

Over the weekend, a video emerged online of bandits threatening to kidnap Buhari and the Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai.

Reacting to the video in a chat with journalists in Makurdi, Ortom claimed that there is no Government in Nigeria adding that those surrounding the president are criminals.

He said, “You know I said this before I travelled that very soon, with the manner in which the bandits are operating without proactive steps from the federal government, they will soon enter Aso Rock.

“You have seen happenings in the country, the Kuje prison break and the threat to kidnap the president, God forbid but this is what I saw a long time ago.

“Those people in Afghanistan who are bandits and Fulani are the ones. They are being sponsored. I feel pained that this is happening in my generation. There is no government in Nigeria today. Those who are surrounding the president are criminals.
