Nobody should harass me when I leave office and become a freedom fighter- Ortom calls for the release of Nnamdi Kanu and Igboho

Governor of Benue state, Samuel Ortom has disclosed that when he leaves office he will become a freedom fighter. He called for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and Sunday Igboho, Yoruba Nation agitator

He said this on Monday in Makurdi, the state capital, while addressing journalists.

The governor stated that both freedom fighters are not bandits, hence should be released.

“They should stop harassing Kanu and Igboho because these are freedom fighters.

“If tomorrow, I leave office and decide to become a freedom fighter for my people, nobody should harass me,” Ortom stated
