Obiano’s wife not in our Custody – EFCC

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has denied arresting Eberechukwu, wife of the immediate past governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano.

This was disclosed in a statement by EFCC’s spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren. He said Eberechukwu is not in the anti graft agency’s custody

Recall that EFCC arrested her husband, Willie Obiano on March 17, 2022, at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos State as he attempted to leave the country, hours after handing over to his successor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo.
