MC Oluomo gets new appointment from Lagos govt
Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly called MC Oluomo has been appointed chairman of Parks Management Committee by the Lagos State government.
MC Oluomo had on Wednesday been sacked as the Lagos state chairman of NURTW.
His new appointment was confirmed in a statement by the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso.
The statement was titled, “Lagos Government sets up Parks Management Committee”.
The State government said the appointment was in fulfilment of the government’s promise to ensure that events in the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) were not allowed to threaten law and order in the State.
He said that ensuring peace in the State was a duty the government owed all residents and visitors.
According to him, members of the committee have been selected following consultations with stakeholders in the sector.
The committee members include: Mr Hakeem Odumosu (AIG Rtd), as Government Liaison Officer; Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya – Chairman; Alhaji Sulyman Ojora – Deputy Chairman, Dr. Taiwo Olufemi Salaam – Secretary.
