I’m in deep mourning – Goodluck Jonathan says as he loses two aides

Former President Goodluck Jonathan is in mourning as he lost two of his aides in a car accident on his way from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Jonathan who survived the accident in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ikechukwu Eze, described the incident and the death of his aides as painful and heart-rending.

Jonathan disclosed that two other officers who sustained injuries are responding to treatments at the hospital

“Two other officers sustained injuries in the accident which involved a car conveying the security men.

“They were rushed to hospital in Abuja where they are responding to treatment, he said

The former President prayed to God to grant the souls of the departed eternal rest and bless their families and the nation with the fortitude to bear the loss.
