BREAKING: Ghana beat Nigeria to qualify for Qatar 2022

The black stars of Ghana on Tuesday beat the Super Eagles of Nigeria to gain a spot at the 2022 World cup following a 1-1 draw

The Super Eagles failed to defeat the Black Stars in Kumasi, as they were only able to draw 0-0.

In the reverse leg played at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, the visitors took the lead through Thomas Partey.

However, Nigeria drew level, after VAR awarded a penalty for a foul on Ademola Lookman. Captain William Troost-Ekong stepped up to make it 1-1.

There were no goals in the second half and the Black Stars qualified on an away goal advantage.
