Compared to Bola Tinubu, Obiano is a saint – Reno Omokri reacts to arrest of Former Anambra state Governor by the EFCC

Former Presidential aide Reno Omokri has questioned why the Economic and Financial crimes commission, EFCC has decided to arrested former Anambra state Governor, Willie Obiano and not Former Lagos state Governor, Bola Tinubu despite the corruption cases against him.

Obiano was arrested at the Lagos International Airport on Thursday a few hours after he officially handed over to Prof. Charles Soludo and was heading out of the country.

The anti-graft agency had reported that Obiano had been on their watchlist prior to Thursday’s event.

Reacting to this in a tweet, Reno Omokri wrote:

“Compared to Bola Tinubu, Obiano is a saint. Compared to Oluremi Tinubu, Ebele is a choir mistress.

“Why has EFCC left Bola Tinubu, with his humongous corruption, and gone after Obiano?

“Nigerians let us not allow ourselves be distracted by this drama! We need equity!”
