Willie Obiano arrested by EFCC at Lagos Airport hours after handing over to Soludo

The immediate past Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, has been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Obiano was apprehended at the Lagos International Airport, few hours after he handed over to the new Governor of the state, Chukwuma Charles Soludo.

The former Governor was believed to have been on his way out of the country when the arrest took place

The EFCC operatives will take Obiano into their custody.
