2-year-old allegedly flogged mercilessly by her teacher for failing to recite the alphabets

Uncle of a two-year-old pupil of Unic Vilos schools in Maza-Maza, Lagos state has taken to Social media to share photos of his niece’s bruised back after she was allegedly flogged 24 strokes of cane by her teacher for failing to recite the alphabets.

The Twitter user @WakaWaka tailor alleged that the teacher said that his niece was not the only one given 24 strokes of the cane and that she will be flogged again if the need arises.

Meanwhile, a team consisting of the Lagos state Ministry of Education (Office of Quality Assurance), Ministry of Justice, and Ministry of Youth and Social Development are already on the matter.
