AFCON 2021: Super Eagles beat Egypt to win opening game

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have won their opening game against Egypt’s pharaohs in the ongoing 2021 African Cup of Nations with a 1-0 victory.

Leicester City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho scored the winning goal which saw him win the man of the match title.

Nigeria missed a couple of chances to double their lead, especially, in the second half but are now top of Group D with three points.
