Insecurity: We are winning insurgency, Northeast was worse before Buhari’s government – Lai Mohammed
The Federal Government has assured Nigerians that it is winning the war against insurgency in the country.
Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed made the claims in an interview with BBC on Wednesday. He insisted that Nigeria is not a failed state.
The Minister claimed that the security situation in the Northeast is better than it was before the emergence of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration in 2015.
“The Nigerian Government is winning the war against insurgents, the evidence of that is the number of insurgents that are already surrendering not only with their weapons but with their family,” Lai Mohammed said.
“This thing takes time. Don’t forget that in 2015, the entire Northeast was a no go area where schools, markets and hospitals were closed. It is clearly not what we inherited in 2015”.
that maybe true but what about banditry and civil in Some northern states….
Has he done anything about it ?
We need total freedom not partially
Your administration has not done well in terms of security
You people need to crush those bandits and other security threats if not there will be no peace
Stop misleading those in charge, tell them to double their efforts
