Abduction: Live up to your responsibility – Atiku tells Buhari
Former Vice President Atiku Atbubakar, has called on the President Buhari-led government to began to live up to its responsibilities.
The former Vice President said this following the abduction of students from Bethel Baptist High School, Damishi, Chikun local government area of the state, describing it as one too many.
Atiku in a post on Twitter stated that it is time to stop pretending that all is well with Nigeria and focus on protecting lives and properties which is the primary responsibility of the Government.
In his words: “This is one abduction too many. We cannot continue to pretend that all is well. All is not well. Protection of lives and property is the primary responsibility of the government. And it is time that government begins to live up to its responsibilities.
“My thoughts and prayers are with the parents and guardians of the victims of this crime against our children.
“I commend our military and other security agencies for securing the release of some of the kidnapped students even as I urge them to work assiduously for the release of the rest.”
that is a good advice cuz the man failed in every criteria of government………
Do we still need to be telling him that he should stand up to their responsibility? This is bad
Its only God that can save us not this present government
This present government doesn’t value life like cow at all
I hope he will try to listen this time around
