South-East governors misleading people with Igbo presidency – Biafra group reacts to anti-IPOB comments

The Biafra Nations League (BNL) has accused Southeast governors of misleading people of the region with the clamour for an Igbo Presidency come 2023 instead of the much agitated Biafran Nation.

The group’s National Leader, Princewill Chimezie Richard, made the remark while rebuking the governors and Ohanaeze Ndigbo for disowning the pro-Biafra groups.

The group warned Igbo leaders to desist from attempting to hijack the Biafra struggle to make it look like an Igbo affair.

“The Biafra struggle is far beyond the struggle for ethnic interest, the South East Governors and Ohanaeze are misleading the public by projecting the Igbo Presidency as the solution to the Biafran struggle, Richard said

“Biafra is about the freedom all inhabitants of the Bight of Biafra in Nigeria and cannot be exchanged for the President of Igbo extraction, he added.
