FG expects Ibori’s £4.2million loot from the United Kingdom soon
The Federal Government has said over £4billion looted by former Delta Governor, James Ibori will be repatriated to Nigeria soon.
This was according to a statement by the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami on Monday through his spokesman, Umar Gwandu.
He noted that sometimes when a country transfers funds, it takes more than expected due to some documentation.
Malami said his office and other relevant government agencies will keep the public informed once the loot are received as the country is in touch with the United Kingdom on the matter.
“Documentations with the banks in different countries often take longer than anticipated. We anticipated two weeks but we are not in control of the banks.
“There is neither complacency nor any delay as efforts are being made to ensure successful transfer of the looted funds,” the statement read.
After receiving the funds, you people will surely share it among yourself
You always just receive the without judicious usefulness
Kindly use the money judiciously if received because the one you received their is no impact
May Almighty God have mercy on us with this money
Kindly use money very well, please
that is good news and hoped it’s returned back to its rightful owner……..
