$1.5bn Refinery revamp Bill can build 12 Hospitals – Peterside
Founder of Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc, Atedo Peterside, has queried the Federal Government’s decision to renovate the Port Harcourt refinery for $1.5bn.
Peterside in a tweet noted that the money could be used to build 12 world-class hospitals at $125m dollars each.
He advised the government to instead sell the refinery to private sector investors that would rehabilitate it with their own funds.
“The $1.5bn earmarked for PH refinery rehabilitation by NNPC could build 12 world class hospitals costing $125m each – two in each geopolitical zone. We could then allow private sector core investors to purchase the refinery and rehabilitate it with their own funds,” he tweeted.
that is true cuz they will divert the money to their pockets…….
The money earn mark for this refinery will be siphoned
Our government always like to waste money on where they won’t get results
The government needs those who will be telling them the truth without being hesitate
This APC is all promises cancelled, they promised us many things before they attained power but failed us totally when they got the power
