Remove your minds from politics, succeed first – Umahi tells Ebonyi Youths
Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi has urged youths of the state to be successful first before considering indulging in politics.
According to him, only the wealthy are able to manipulate politics.
He said this on Wednesday during an Ebonyi State #EndSARS Summit hosted by the state government in Abakaliki.
Umahi said,
“Remove your minds from politics and succeed first. Those who are manipulating politics are the wealthy men and women.
“That man that made every one of us be a councillor, go and find out his situation. Has he made any progress? The answer is no.
“I hear government should provide jobs. Let us even say jobs are provided, N30, 000 minimum wages. In one year, it is N360, 000. What are you doing with that?”

So, you too know that 30k monthly is nothing to write home about and you are still denying these workers with their entitlement, this is bad
This is so unfortunate that if you are not successful you can’t participate in politics, that means you are not serving the people you are governing except make them suffering with your statement
To be successful first from your mouth, this is so saddened. It’s only God we can rely on and not these people anymore
If you know that minimum wage we are talking about is nothing yet you didn’t pay it, you are wicked people
