Aisha Buhari breaks her silence as she wishes Nigerians a Happy International Women’s day; speaks on the abduction of schoolgirls

In celebration of International Women’s day, the first lady of Nigeria Aisha Buhari has sent a goodwill message to Nigerian women.

In a statement made by the first Lady, she condemned the abduction of schoolgirls in some parts of the country, saying it might have an adverse effect on the girl child’s education as well as early marriage. She called on all stakeholders to join forces to bring an end to the menace of abduction.

This is coming after months of silence from the First Lady following reports that she has since travelled to Dubai after her Daughter’s wedding.
