“If I see any Cow in Akure Town, I will arrest it” – Akeredolu
Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu has vowed to take into custody any cow seen on the streets of Akure as the government is banning open grazing.
Recall that on the 25th of January in a bid to solve the incessant clashes between herders and farmers, Southwest Governors decided to ban open grazing in their various states and affirming to this, Akeredolu in a recent interview with TVC News said;
”We are banning open grazing. If I see a cow I will arrest it. They can’t move in Akure town. We wouldn’t allow it. It is not going to happen. We must put an end to it.
pls do that to sets example for others….
Those herders should for what to do instead of roaming the street with the cattle, that is the best option.
