Family expresses worry as bride is given a wrapped cutlass as a wedding gift
Twitter user, @baddestchef took to the social media platform to reveal one of the gifts her sister received at her wedding.
A wedding guest had wrapped a cutlass and gave it to her sister as a gift at her wedding.
“Why would someone give my sister a wrapped cutlass as a wedding gift?” She asked alongside a photo of the gift, she tweeted
Twitter users responded, some warned that it’s not a good sign. Most advised the family to return the gift if they know the giver or just throw it away. Others felt it probably means nothing.

Giving couple a Cutlass as a weeding gift is not good because I don’t think there’s any advantage in giving them Cutlass.
Upon all the different things in life or in the market, it is only Cutlass you can give.
If they can’t verify or ascertain the meaning to the Cutlass giving to them, they should return if and only if they can identify the giver.
This is rubbish from the giver.
