#Endsars Protest Aftermath: Court orders CBN to unfreeze Promoters’ Accounts
The Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to unfreeze the accounts of 20 #EndSARS protesters which had been blocked by the apex bank following the EndSARS protest in October.
The judge, Ahmed Mohammed issued the order unfreezing the accounts after the legal teams of both the CBN and the 20 defendants decided to end the case.
He commended counsel to the CBN, Mr Michael Andoaka, and lawyer to the defendants, Mr. Femi Falana for the resolution.
Justice Mohammed set aside the November 4, 2020 order and ordered that all the accounts of the affected persons “be immediately defreezed.”
OK, now the court has understood what we are going through. It’s a good news
that is good news…..
November 4,2020 order was set aside and give new judgement, that is good news to them.
Congratulations to those #endsars whose their account was frozen. God is in your side.
