Lady cries for help as all her savings of N3.5million allegedly disappears from her Access Bank Account

An Access Bank customer, Nkiru Puthen Rosie has cried out for help after all her savings of N3.5million disappeared from her account. Rather than investigate, the Bank appears to be eager to move on from the occurrence, as all they did was tell her that they empathize with her. Is this the fate that awaits Nigerians abroad who bank in Nigeria? Her story below:

I logged in to my email attached to my Access bank account and discovered that people had gradually transferred all my money (about 3.5 million naira) out of my account. Access bank have tried to disassociate themselves from this fraudulent activities by trying to blame me for the thefts.

They said it was done with my SIM card but I didn’t register any phone number with that account. I don’t live in Nigeria and don’t have a consistent phone number and that’s why I didn’t register a phone number. I haven’t used a Nigerian SIM card since 2017 and I always travel with my SIM card in my phone to call my family until I get to my destination. Their reply to my emails was that “they have empathized with me”!

  2. Hmmm, what’s going on because I can’t understand. How would that huge amount of money vanish in someone’s account without her knowledge, this is bad.

  3. So terrible, this is some Banks use to do, and they will be telling the customer that no remedy. Why won’t be remedy when the person didn’t give her card to anybody not to talk of number. Management of access bank should look into it.
