Natasha Akpoti slams National Council for Women Societies for awarding Gov Bello as the ”Most Gender Sensitive Governor in Nigeria
Former Kogi state governorship candidate, Natasha Akpoti, has called out the National Council for Women Societies (NCWS) for bestowing the award of the ”Most Gender-Sensitive Governor in Nigeria” on Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State.
Natasha in a tweet via her twitter handle described the award as an insult. She alleged that the Governor had unleashed violence and terror to some persons in the state including herself and a certain PDP women leader.
She wrote:
”National Council for Women Societies @ncws_abuja should bury their heads in shame. Honouring Kogi’s Gov. Yahaya Bello as “Most Gender Sensitive Gov in Nigeria” is an insult to d violence he unleashed to me, the dead@OfficialPDPNig woman leader & a host of others. Evil monster”
Is money that is speaking because the era we are now by our leaders is with money everything can be done.
They might see something in him in which you didn’t see, I can’t still blame them for now.
You can’t judge the book by the cover, may be he did something meaningful and tangible which you or we don’t Know.
Giving him award doesn’t mean he has done it all but little by little. He might have done for women.
he is a monster who didn’t deserve the awards and that is true…..
Award is award nothing like embarrassing in it.
