Passengers and airline staff fight over flight cancellation
Frustrated passengers and airline staff were caught in a fight over a cancelled flight on Friday evening, Jan 15, at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano.
According to Daily Trust, the fight started when passengers of an Azman flight from Kano to Lagos were informed that the flight, which was earlier rescheduled from 7:30am to 8:30pm, had been cancelled. Passengers protested and it soon turned violent, resulting in a female staff of the airline collapsing after being hit, a passenger left with a bloody mouth and another staff had his cloth nearly ripped off his body.
We Nigerians are very impatient, that canceled fight might be there seviour for that day
Dey should have thought this before fighting
This is part of bad government. How can that happen in we’re there’s security. It’s a pity.
Bad news for the company
The staff should be patient with the passengers because no matter what happened customer always right.
I hope the management would intervene and settle the case for them.
Before they could engage in this fighting they could have been frustrated by some of the staff.

No matter what happened, they should have settled it among themselves instead of resulting in fighting.
That is because they don’t have senses….
Lack of communication. The airlines staff should have infirmed their passagengers that the flight won’t be possible that day to avoid them coming to the airport. If bulk SMS were sent this ugly incident may not occour. Some people might have come from far place only to be told the flight has been canceled, how.can they go back or where are the going to pass the night since they came with hope of boarding flight not to sleep over. Bad organizational work by the airline
