Let’s unite to win Anambra guber election – Andy Uba begs APC supporters
Senator Andy Uba has called on members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State to put hands together for the party’s victory at the governorship election in the state come November.
He made this call when he visited the APC party secretariat in Awka on Saturday, where he made his intentions to run for Governor known.
Uba, who represented Anambra South Senatorial zone for two terms, is gunning for the governorship ticket of the APC for the election.
According to him, the only way for APC to beat its oppositions was for it to sit and plan towards its victory. He also advised the party to present someone who would be capable of winning the election for them.
He said;
“I didn’t join APC recently, I had been a member of the party for a long time. I have internal and external contacts to move the party forward.
God’s time is the best and he knew why I was removed as governor in 2007 and I bear no grudges against anyone over it.
“Let us sit and plan how to win this election . Let us not fight each other . If I see any one better than me, I will support the person.
“APC needs to present a strong candidate to win PDP and APGA. Those parties have more trouble than us,” he said.
You said it well by saying that you will support anybody who emerge as governorship candidate as long as is capable of delivering the dividends of democracy.
You people are just looking for how to always retain power without care about the welfare of those who voted you in.
Everything is in God hand to spare our lives beyond then, we will now know who to vote for.
Nobody knows tommorow instead of thinking on how to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of your community, state and Nigeria at large you are talking about 2023, all these our politicians Sha.
That your own problems…. Thieves and useless people….
United we stand divided we fall
This are political languages nah, I wish him all the best
If at least you do good in your state, you will not be begging for victory… your work with judge for you.
