Seven killed as Amotekun Operatives clash with Gunmen in Oyo
About seven people have been confirmed dead as operatives of the Oyo State Security Network, Amotekun clashed with some gunmen in Aiyete area, Ibarapa North LGA of the state.
The clash occurred in Okebi village on Saturday morning which led to violence and chaos in the area.
According to reports, several houses were also burned down and over seven people have been confirmed dead.
The commandant of Amotekun in Oyo state, Olayinka Olayanju informed newsmen that he was on his way to the affected area to ascertain the cause of the clash when contacted.
Confirming the incident, the state Police Public Relations Office, Olugbenga Fadeyi, disclosed that the DPO at Aiyete Police Division had moved to the community to assess the situation.
What is all these insecurities here and there in the country, who are we going be blamed with all the incident that occur in the country.
Why is it that people like to be causing problem in the country, police should arrest those people and prosecute them.
Gun men here and there can’t government do something about it. Amunitions have become rampant in the country now.
Who are those people handed gun over to them? Those boys should confess those who provided gun for them if apprehended.
