Leave Kukah in Sokoto and fight bandits in your Shokoto, Shehu Sani tells Northern youths
Shehu Sani, former Kaduna Central Senator, has asked northern youths to stop attacking Bishop of Sokoto Catholic Diocese, Mathew Kukah, and instead focus on fighting the bandits that plague the region.
In his Christmas message, Kukah had accused the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration of nepotism. Kukah said Buhari had sacrificed the dreams of Nigerians on the alter of nepotism and Northern hegemony.
Reacting, the Coalition of Northern Groups, CNG, accused Kukah of attempting to destroy the quest for national integration by instigating violence.
Also, Arewa Youth Consultative Forum (AYCF) called for the immediate arrest and prosecution of the Bishop. The forum described Kukah’s statement as unguarded and an open incitement to military coup and insurrection against the democratically elected government.
Shehu Sani tweeted in response, “My Dear Northern Youths; leave the Kukah in Sokoto and fight the Bandits in your shokoto.”

That’s bitter truth, I don’t understand what’s wrong with our leaders and politicians who use to leave the message passed and attack the messenger.
They are all aware that what bishop kukah said was truth but they decided not want to hear the truth Because maybe it benefits them.
Those people that are benefitting from this atrocities won’t want it to end , when sultan of sokoto, abubakar Sa’ad the third told the president something like this none of them against, it’s now bishop kukah they are now saying thrash.
Nigerians should stand against any persecution of this man because if everybody keeps quiet, it will bounce and tell on Nigerians not on our leaders or any politicians.
Bitter truth…. You are facing a real time bomb but you are not concern but pokenosing into what does not your business…. Ignorant fools…..
Nice advice from Shehu Sani
This is one of the reasons why I love Shehu Sani, he is well outspoken and does not care whose ox is gored
Tell them if they will listen
They are busy challenging bishop kukkah while the actual problem/problems they are supposed to tackle head on are there
Kukah always say what is useful to government but they will not listen. Is a man of God and God pass an information through his mouth. We just need to amend.
