Solution to banditry in the north is in Zamfara – Governor Matawalle
Governor Bello Muhammed Matawalle says the solution to the raging insecurity issues ravaging the northern part of the country, is in Zamfara state.
Matawalle stated this while receiving members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led by its Chairman Prince Uche Secondus, who paid him a condolence visit over the killing of eight persons in the convoy of the Emir of Kaura Namoda.
He said;
“Zamfara is the epicentre of banditry in the North and if the issue of banditry is taken seriously in Zamfara State, I assure you the whole issue of banditry in Northern Nigeria will end. So, I’m calling on my colleagues and the security agencies to put more efforts in Zamfara State so that we can identify all the camps of the bandits and destroy them.
“If we don’t destroy them, we may not be able to end the issue of banditry in the North or Nigeria at large. No matter what the bandits tell you about dialogue or reconciliation, we must be able to mop up the weapons in their hands, without doing so, we are not doing anything.
You are the governor and chief security of the state, what have you done and what part have play to curb the issue of banditry in your state.
If you know there base you can those army to the place once you are the governor of the state, army will just dismantle everyone of them in the place.
Some of the governor in the northern part of the country are the harbouring those bandits we are talking about, since you have started negotiating with them what else do you expect?
Only if those of you in the north can cooperate with those army that is when the problem of this banditry will be solved totally but if not there will be no solution to it.
Imagine him asking for solutions to the problems in his states when his the chief security officer with plenty advisers…. It’s shows how unworthy you are of this post of governor…..
The way government fund their activities is not quite understandable to me and most people
This man is the governor of Zamfara state and fromhow he is sounding, he knows where the problem of banditry is from and he is the chief security officer of that state
What is now holding him from launching a massive attack on these criminals so that they will all be terminated
There must be something they are not allowing us to know as simple as that
Your song alright sometimes I’m tempted to think that these people don’t just decide and go into all this evil hard in order to collect money from the Federal Government it’s not good at not call for for a country like Nigeria
