FRSC Mandates NIN as requirement for Processing Driver’s License
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced the compulsory use of the National Identity Number (NIN), to obtain a driver’s license.
The was according to a statement by Mr Bisi Kazeem, Assistant Corps Marshal (ACM), Corps Public Education Officer on Wednesday, 16th December as the order will take effect from the 21st of December.
This is reportedly in a bid to complement the Federal Government’s directive to collate citizens’ data through the NIN.
The FRSC official advised people going for their driver’s license processing, to adhere strictly to the directives.
He added that there will be no waiver for anyone as the development will help security agencies in data collation and quick retrievals, to address some of the nation’s security challenges.
If federal government doesn’t bring this out, you wouldn’t have done anything.
I don’t think what you are saying is feasible, what you should have done since.
Government with no bearing, it is better to give time for them to register for their NIN.
You (FRSC) better give them time to do it. What you are talking is not feasible.
Hmmmmmmmmm… But that doesn’t improve safety precautions….
The disturbance in this country is getting out of hand …o
