Insecurity: Buhari afraid to face Parliament – Uche Secondus
The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Uche Secondus has described the decision of President Muhammadu Buhari not to appear before the House of Representatives on Thursday as disgraceful.
Secondus expressed that he was disappointed that the President, a retired general of the Nigerian Army is “afraid” of appearing before the lawmakers to discuss the issue of security.
He said this on Thursday in Abuja at a media briefing to commemorate his third year in office.
“This back and forth from the President on a vital issue as security that is overwhelming our nation underscores our position as an opposition party that nobody is in charge and that this is a broken government.
“Disregarding the nation’s parliament is disregarding the Nigerian people because they are representatives of the people. The truth which is worrisome is that the President either does not know what is happening or does know what to do otherwise he should not be afraid to face the people, he said
I don’t even know the type of government we have now in this nation
There are no more rules of doing something at all
Why is the president running away from coming to see the legislative arm
It is a very big shame
We all know that buhari has failed and he is afraid of questions. Because he can’t do with reading script
I don’t think there’s a person that is piloting the affairs of the country because if there’s a whole president won’t be afraid.
How would facing national assembly be the problem when you have already familiarize yourself with them already, then what are you scared of.
?
If a whole president doesn’t want to face crowd or what does he mean not to honor the invitation? I think the lower chamber will know what to do.
I don’t think the president knows his responsibility because if he does he won’t do that.
That is true but he is hidden in other to avoid there masses because of his failures…..
That’s just it..he’s a mad mad man. But very soon we go get him.
