COVID-19: PTF accuses Religious bodies of sabotage
The Federal Government has accused some religious organisations of sabotaging the Nation’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and Chairman, Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, stated this on Thursday in Abuja at the joint national briefing of the task force.
He expressed that by holding large gatherings and events contrary to the coronavirus protocol, the virus is capable of spreading.
Mustapha further cautioned that organizations who signed to enforce the Covid-19 protocols should set up their roles of the enforcement.
“We have observed, rather sadly, that Nigerians, particularly some faith-based organisations, have continued to hold events of large gatherings capable of spreading the virus.
“The PTF urges all sub-national entities that signed the protocols with these organisations, and have primary responsibility for enforcing the protocols, to step up their roles of enforcement,” Mustapha said.
Sabotaging your efforts as how, when you people are holding campaign in the various election holding during campaign, then what are you talking about.
You are messing up around with everything and you are blaming government on your inability to deliver on the task you were giving.
In your own side, you always not seeing your flaws but always to blame other people. Even the ordinary palliative that you were ask to distribute or handle you failed woefully.
You shouldn’t blame religious body, because what have you done to make things easier for them when you are holding rally, campaign and other events. Kindly don’t blame them at all blame yourself.

The way people gather now both in the market, religious gatherings, banks, marriage events, burials etc without obeying the protocols of prevention of the covid makes it look as if the virus is no more

Don’t mind them….. They don’t know what they were doing but blaming others for this misfortune….
