The Federal Ministry Of Works has revealed that over 700 road projects are currently ongoing in the country.
Speaking at the ongoing 26th National Council on Works in Port Harcourt, Ernest Umakhihe, who is the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, noted that the road projects include intervention projects in higher institutions of learning.
He also assured Nigerians that all ongoing iconic road infrastructure will be completed including the Sukuk bond financed road projects across the six geopolitical zones of the country
He said;
“The Federal Government is committed to completing some iconic projects such as the second Niger Bridge, Bodo-Bonny Road, Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Expressway and Obajana-Kabba Road in Kogi State.
“In the same vein, government is also committed to completing the Sukuk bond financed road projects across the six geopolitical zones of the country and maintain scheduled maintenance of 5,000km of roads annually.”
I don’t ever believe anything that comes out from this man’s mouth and from his co party members who are in the helms of affair of this country
Where and where are the roads or are they like the camera he sniffed out like s dog at Lekki tollgate
Everytime road, you people celebrate ordinary building of road. Very funny people
No be only 700 road that are under construction but the entire world, when you people don’t know what to say why not keep quiet.
Must the Federal Government be washing their dirty pants outside?
I hope the will be done to the standard? It’s a welcome development all the way.
Please! Don’t shipon the money meant for the project and do the shallow job. Kindly do the tangible thing.
Just make sure you complete what you started with all those money you borrowed here and there.
God knows the Best, government should carry out the job the fear of God, may the Lord help us.
That is a very big lie….
