“We are investigating those behind the bread tax, it is evil” -Yahaya Bello
Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello says investigations are ongoing concerning the supposed bread tax, describing the development as evil.
While briefing the press after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House in Abuja on Tuesday, Bello said he has ordered the Head of Service to issue queries to those responsible for the act and bring them to face the law accordingly.
“The particular incident of bread tax is being looked into as I speak, we are investigating those that are behind this,” the governor said
“It is evil and it is unaccepted, to say the least. I have ordered the Head of Service to issue queries to those that are responsible and they will face the law accordingly.”
