EndSARS: “Who gave the order for my passport to be seized” – Modupe asks immigration
Modupe (Moe) Odele, one of the frontliners of the EndSARS protest has questioned the NIS following the seizure of her passport.
The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) had denied that her passport was seized because of her involvement in the campaign against police brutality but was seized for a routine check after an order was given.
Modupe was stopped by authorities from boarding an international flight as Immigration officials seized her passport without disclosing her offence.
Reacting, Moe who was to travel for a personal trip, described the continued seizure of her passport by the immigration as a constitutional breach as she questioned who gave the order for her passport to be seized
“Let’s center the main issue. My passport was taken with no reason given. This is an ongoing constitutional breach.
“Section 38 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended) DSS v. Agbakoba (1999) 3 NWLR (PT. 595)

We are not in anarchy or military regime that anyone can behave anyhow. How would they seize her passport without giving excuses or explanation, this ridiculous.
This president buhari administration is nothing to write home about, why is that every agencies will be doing as there’s nobody to coordinate them. Seizing someone’s passport without any explanations.
Nigeria government should take to rule of law instead of maltreating the citizens without respecting the law. This must also stop.
The government that ought to have up held the law are the one violated it which is done, when we are not in military regime.
