WTO: I would not have made it without your support – Okonjo Iweala thanks Nigerians
Nigeria’s former Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has reacted as she emerged as one of the two finalists for the World Trade Organization (WTO) Director-General position.
Okonjo-Iweala in a tweet acknowledged that the feat would not have been possible without the support of all Nigerians and friends around the world.
She wrote:
“Happy to be in the final round of the @wto DG campaign. Thanks, WTO members for your continued support of my candidacy. I could not have made it without the prayers and support of all Nigerians and friends around the world. Thank you @MBuhari and all my friends. Aluta continua!
