Suspected thief beaten to a pulp for allegedly stealing plasma TV in Abuja
A 23-year-old man identified as Ejiofor was nearly killed by a mob after he was allegedly caught stealing a Plasma TV in Wumba village, Abuja.
It was gathered that on Thursday, September 24, the suspect sneaked into the home of one Mrs Comfort when she went to buy something by the roadside.
When the woman’s 11-year-old son son asked him what he was looking for, he said his mother asked him to remove the TV. Mrs Comfort was entering the house when she saw Ejiofor trying to get away with the TV.
She quickly raised alarm, a mob rushed out and descended on him. He was beaten to pulp before being taken to the Chief of the community who called the police. The police arrived and whisked him away.

That guy has luck, if it was in portharcourt he would have been set ablaze before the police we arrive

He deserved the beaten.. because why stealing? How much did he want to sell the plasma tv? Take him to police station let him face the law.

You stole the plasma TV because of what, if it’s food at least I can still pity for that but plasma TV it sounds ridiculous. At your age to you have started waywardness. Police should look for a to rehabilitate him because he can still be useful in good way.
Instead of looking for a way to build yourself in a moral manner but the reverse is the case, you result in destructive way. You need to thank God for saving your life from being short cut if not you would have been dead now. This can still serve as a lesson to you if you later gain your freedom and it will serve as a lesson.

We blame things on the hardship of this Nation, yet we have a lot of people who do labour just to fend for themselves. Laziness, unwillingness to work, and getting rich quickly are the major cause of this. He is still a young man not to have strength to work.

They should free that guy joor but if they want to do justice they should start from top.

The police should take over from there and investigate so as to get more useful imformations from this guy
