Neymar and four other players banned over PSG brawl as LFP investigates racism allegations
The LFP Disciplinary Committee in France has revealed punishment for the players involved in the mass brawl that overshadowed Paris Saint-Germain’s clash with Marseille last weekend.
Neymar was one of five players sent off after a fight broke out between Argentine pair Dario Benedetto and Leandro Paredes and then extended to other players at the end of PSG’s shock 1-0 defeat to Marseille last Sunday.
On Wednesday, September, 16, the French football governing announced PSG full-back, Layvin Kurzawa, has been slapped with a six-game ban for his role after he kicked Jordan Amavi.
Amavi was slapped with a three-match ban with Marseille team-mate Dario Benedetto receiving a one-match ban.
Brazilian striker, Neymar, who was caught by VAR hitting Marseille defender Alvaro Gonzalez during the clash, received a two-match ban with a suspended sentence with Leandro Paredes handed the same punishment.
Neymar accused Gonzalez of racially abusing him during the clash. He claimed Alvaro called him a ‘monkey son of a b****’, but Gonzalez has since denied the claims.
The LFP will investigate those allegations against the Spanish defender, and also look into claims filed by Marseille that PSG star Angel Di Maria spat at Gonzalez.

People who like to judge and throw accusations around are really just trying hard to cover up their own issues and insecurities just because nemyar an d three other are better than them.
Kudos to LFP, they deserve to be banned even more than that because they have no sense and they did not have respect for there entire team.

Alvaro is always rude player,this is not the first time he will call someone monkey. Neymer would have punch him. But sometimes neymer would have been more patient because he is a role model for many young players.
This racism is too much
Well, they should be properly investigated and do the justice with them nothing more.
Neymar should have reported the issue to the official for necessary actions to be taking instead of fighting as a professional footballer.

They should endure…even with the match banned they are still getting payed
Football was a game originally designed to entertain people and also a form of excersise, but nowadays people have turned it to some other things. They play it with bitterness and say all forms of rubbish to their opponents
This shouldn’t be so nah… we are all one in the sight of the Lord
Since these players were found guilty of what they did, the penalty given to them is good for them so that others will learn a lesson from it
I think the ban is OK, because they didn’t act as professionalls.
