Andrew Momodu, an ex-aide to Adams Oshiomhole, former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has defected to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and has also pledged the sum of N5 million to support the candidate of the PDP and the incumbent Governor of the state Godwin Obaseki

The Eramah Anwian of Anwain Kingdom in Etsako East Local Government Area, LGA, of Edo North, HRM Mufutairu Oare also assured the Governor of the support of people of the area.

He said, “Mr. Governor, we are assuring you that you are at home. This community road has been a disaster for over a thousand years until your intervention.

“We were cut off from Edo State until you gave us a good road that integrated us back as members of the state. We cannot forget such a gesture.”

According to him, governments come and go and do not remember that humans exist in the area, adding that Obaseki came and connected them back to the state through good roads.

  1. This is good to know. I hope he is saying this from the bottom of his heart
Obasekki should be watchful knowing fully well that politicians can not be trusted
If Obasekki has really done well for him and his people, they should support him nah

  2. I have said it severally before today that defectors does not have anything to offer people except their selfishness. Obaseki pledges 5m and he defected, so pathetic, we citizens should know what what we are doing and should not die for any of them.

  3. Some are defecting from PDP to APC and APC to PDP because of their selfish interest. I implore you (youths) not to die for any politicians because if you die your family is the one to be bereaved.
