How I wish PDP should take over ondo state because how on Earth political office holder would be toying with the lives of civil servants who sacrifice for you people to get billions of naira at the end of the day their peanuts won’t be given to them, it’s sad indeed.

That will be the miracle of the century- To defeat an incumbent. The bane of our democracy today is the quest to complete second tenure. Even when one did not perform well in the first term, its a do or die affair that he do second term. When president Jonathan advocated for one single term of 6 years, we jettison the idea. Now it seems two terms of 4 + 4 is a must for every elective post. My question is; Must we copy American system of government intoto, even when its not working for us. Cant we be creative once and map out a system that suits us
